Hot Spot Detection (IR)
Infrared studies of power lines yield potential hot spot anomalies not visible to the naked eye. Problem areas are geo-referenced and illustrated with video frame clips, still photography, infrared images and temperature differentials. Even in places where access issues make it cost prohibitive to locate these potential failures, Optimal Geomatics can accurately pin-point these potential points of failure very cost effectively.
