Athens, AL (November 22, 2019) — Optimal GEO, Inc. announced today that the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Army Geospatial Center (AGC) has awarded the firm an Army Installation Geospatial Information & Services (IGI&S) 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (October 2019-October 2024) under the firms IT70 General Services Administration (GSA) contract.  This multiple award contract to provide Installations, Energy and Environment (IE&E) geospatial capability for the Army and the DoD has a $49.5 million ceiling.

While Optimal GEO currently has a St Louis USACE prime contract and has been mapping Army installations around the world for over 10 years, this contract will allow the company to work on Information Technology (IT) and Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) projects for the Army and Department of Defense (DoD).  “This is an exciting new opportunity to partner with the Army and DoD community and provide the geospatial capabilities, knowledge and technical support that Optimal GEO has been developing over the years,” said Andy Freckmann, Program Director.
